Tout sur les traitements de verres, et pourquoi ils sont importants

All about lens treatments, and why they're important

Just like us, the lenses of every pair of glasses need protective layers to withstand the elements. There are a thousand and one reasons to equip your glasses with a protective treatment, including anti-reflective properties and resistance to scratches and abrasions. In short, glasses with treated lenses work better... and last longer. To us, the secret is in the treatments.

At Visique, we are proud to offer you only the best treatments. We have taken care to equip ourselves with exceptional equipment and partnerships to ensure that our lens treatments exceed industry standards and improve the quality of life of our customers. Thanks to our long-standing partnership with Satisloh, a leader in ophthalmic lens manufacturing, FYidoctors has the best expertise on the market when it comes to treatments. In addition, these are carried out in our ophthalmic lab located in Delta, right here in Canada.

How do lens treatments work?

Lens treatment is a scientific process that involves obtaining three determining layers: the hard coat (achieved by dipping or spinning), the anti-reflective (AR) coat, and the topcoat. These work together to produce the highest quality treatment possible. Together, these three layers repel water, reduce glare, repel static electricity and dust, prevent scratches, and facilitate cleaning. Do we need to say more?

No matter if you rely on your glasses daily or only wear them occasionally, treated lenses will ensure an increased lifespan and performance.
